The work does not stop when you do
Set a discipline going and it runs while you are away — 24h, 48h with a Vigil Scroll.

A Contract is answered three ways
Investigate leans on a discipline, slow and safe. Assault pays in health for every missed beat. Bargain buys the ending in coin. Training pauses until you're back.

The shelf is finite
Your bank holds a fixed number of shelves, bought with coin. When the last is full, the next thing you find is lost. The Order will post a notice. It will not post a replacement.

You are asked once what you are
Chosen once, at the Rising. Three kinds carry a passive; the fourth carries none — and is let into rooms the others are not.
